Caregiver Reset is a short phone conversation with an AI voice guide for people supporting someone with glioblastoma, or GBM. You'll check in, try a brief relaxation skill, and choose one realistic moment to practice it. The experience takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
Choose a safe, quiet place where you can pause for about a minute. Do not use the exercise while driving.
Before you begin: the YaYa GBM Coach is an AI voice guide, not a clinician. It cannot give medical or emergency advice, and this experimental demo is not clinically validated.
With your permission on the call, a text transcript and your answers will be saved internally for the research team to evaluate the demo. Call audio will not be recorded. Your participant guide will not contain your conversation or the details you share.
Adapted from EMPOWER-GBM research
This demo adapts selected relaxation content from EMPOWER-GBM, a clinician-led support program developed for people affected by glioblastoma. A small pilot of the original program found preliminary feasibility and acceptability; it did not test this AI version or establish clinical effectiveness.
A future adaptation could explore six broad areas of support:
- Getting started
- Practical support
- Care-partner well-being
- Navigating changes
- Communication
- Looking ahead
